We have a magical relationships with dogs and they are considered by many to be a part of the family. On this episode of he podcast we explore how that came to be, and how dogs developed the ability to express emotion through their eyes. Over 1,000’s of years of domestication dogs evolved and developed the ability to express emotion through their eyes through a special muscle around their eyes (LAOM muscle, abbreviation). This muscle allows dogs to express sadness, guilt and joy!
