Submission - not a popular word in the world of modern marriage and gender roles! You break out this word and some won't even finish the conversation with you. Yet it's precisely this word that God has chosen to weave into one of the most direct passages on marriage in the entire Bible - Ephesians 5:15-33. A closer look at this passage will reveal exactly how men can love their wives "like Christ loved the church; why submission is NOT a 4-letter word; and how singles play such a crucial role in all of this.
