On today's show Bill talked about a proposed ice skating rink in city park, PA's largest teachers union blamed state lawmakers for using students as bargaining chips while talks of a state budget remain at an impasse, and the Trump Administration warns state to drop gender ideology from sex-ed material or risk losing federal grants.

In Bill's return from vacation he talked about whether or not the US Government should take a stake in a publicly-traded company, whether or not the ultrarich are paying a lower tax rate than the rest of the US, and if President Trump's Executive Order on burning flags is legal.

Bill was joined by Lucine Sihelnik, President and CEO of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance to discuss the group's participation, along with other regional chambers, in a trip to Washington to advocate for continued funding for regional transportation systems...among other topics.

Bill discussed the city of Reading wanting to purchase land next to First Energy Stadium, the State's budget impasse affecting libraries, foster care, and other services all while state lawmakers aren't back in Harrisburg until after Labor Day, and Russia launches its largest strike on Ukraine in weeks after Trump's meeting with Ukrainian and other European leaders.

On today's show Bill talked about RACC reaching out to the public for funding, prices rising except for oil and gas, and takeaways from Trump's meeting with Ukraine's president and other European leaders. In the 11 o'clock hour Ron Paplosky of Paplosky's Auto Service and Collision Repair in Sinking Springs joined the show in studio and discussed proper repairs in the auto industry and why it costs so much compared to someone who tries to do it on the fly.

On today's show Bill discussed the race for the Governor of PA officially is underway, how did the Trump-Putin summit turn out, and a late entrant into the NYC Mayoral race. In the 11 o'clock hour representatives from the Council on Chemical Abuse of Berks County (COCA BERKS) joined the show to talk about National Recovery Month, which is next month.
