It's the Same Thing Every Week! Fire Lose to DC United

Nick rants about the Chicago Fire's latest loss, a 2-1 home defeat to DC United. The Men in Red continue to play without an identity or a clue on offense and collpase on defense. Nick reviews the stats and lineups, gives his reaction to Frank Klopas, Gaston Gimenez, and Andrew Gutman's post-game comments, but then shares some feel-good stories about attending the match with his boys.

Show Notes

Hey, soccer fans! Does it feel like we've seen this before? It's because we have! The Chicago Fire do the same thing every week, and every week the wonder why they can't win a game. Once again, the Men in Red come out flat, concede early, and then are forced to try to break down a defensive-minded opponent. Don't let the possession numbers fool you, the Fire were not in control of this game at any time. Stay tuned as our host breaks down the lineups, stats, and play of the team.

It's not all bad, though! In the second half, Nick shares the positive experiences of attending the match with his boys. He ends the show recapping the USMNT's loss to Canada over the weekend (Ok maybe it was all bad.)
