Fearlessly Fertile
In Episode 367 of the Fearlessly Fertile Podcast, Rosanne Austin speaks with Lavinia — a woman who was TTC since 33, told at 36 she needed IVF, told at 37 she needed donor eggs, endured multiple failed IVF cycles, suffered a devastating pregnancy loss at 41, and hit rock bottom.
Today, she is a 44-year-old mother to a healthy baby girl born at 43.
This conversation is not about luck.
- It’s not about miracle thinking.
It’s not about ignoring medical reality. - It’s about the identity shift that changed everything.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
- What actually shifted after years of failed IVF
- Why healing the body wasn’t enough
- The mindset and identity patterns that were quietly sabotaging progress
- How fear-based timelines create nervous system dysregulation
- Why women over 35 and over 40 must stop outsourcing authority
- The difference between trying to get pregnant and becoming the woman who does
- How alignment of mind, body, and belief impacts fertility outcomes
This episode is especially important for women navigating:
- Advanced maternal age fertility
- IVF after 35 or 40

- Recurrent IVF failure
- Pregnancy after loss
- Unexplained infertility

Answering Your Questions
Yes. Lavinia conceived naturally through an embryo transfer and delivered her healthy baby girl at 43 after a 10-year fertility journey that included failed IVF cycles, a pregnancy loss, autoimmune challenges, and multiple clinic changes. Her story is one of many on the Fearlessly Fertile Podcast demonstrating that a long fertility journey does not mean a hopeless one.
Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune thyroid condition that can interfere with hormone balance and implantation. Lavinia was told at the outset of her journey that it could make conception difficult. Over time, she also discovered systemic inflammation and other autoimmune markers that were likely contributing to her failed transfers. Addressing these through diet, lifestyle, and targeted medical support was part of her path forward.
Lavinia identifies the shift from seeing her journey as something happening to her to something happening for her as one of the most critical turning points. When she was stuck in victim thinking — comparing herself to others, living in worst-case scenarios, and feeling punished — she was also stuck in her results. Once she identified and cleared those patterns, everything began to move.
Lavinia credits two pivotal shifts: reframing a failed pregnancy as proof she could get pregnant, rather than proof she couldn’t, and moving from living in the future to appreciating the present. Both required active mindset work — not just meditation, but getting to the root of the limiting beliefs that were keeping her nervous system and her results stuck.
The Fearlessly Fertile Method is Rosanne Austin’s fertility mindset coaching program that helped Lavinia identify her victim mindset, clear her limiting beliefs, and step into the identity of a woman who trusted herself, her body, and her baby. She entered the Full Throttle program on January 1st, 2023, was pregnant by October 2024, and delivered her daughter in June 2025 at 43. Women apply at frommaybetobaby.com.
