2024 was apparently supposed to be the year of the small cap. But here we are in September, and small caps are still broadly underperforming, with our largest companies - like the banks - the standout performers on the local bourse.
Andrew Peros, Co-Portfolio Manager of the Ausbil MicroCap and SmallCap Funds, talks to Sean Aylmer about why small caps have underperformed - and where he sees the opportunities in the market.
