It’s a tough time to be investing in Australian media companies. Ad markets are shrinking, digital giants are throwing their weight around, and the outlook for free-to-air broadcasters is looking increasingly grim.
Tim Burrowes, owner of media and marketing newsletter Unmade, operates the Unmade Index - a weighted index of Australian media companies. He talks to Sean Aylmer about how the index has halved in value in just over two years.
