Gabriela Hernandez is a photographer, author, historian, and the founder of Bésame Cosmetics, a line inspired by her personal archive of vintage cosmetics. She shares how she started collecting makeup and the stories behind some of her favorite pieces; explains the history of mascara and how it got its name; tells us how color-changing lipsticks work; and explains how people have been beautifying themselves since the days of Ancient Egypt.
