Ashlynn is a young woman who has been witness to family violence her entire life, culminating with a Stepbrother murdering his mother last year. She is a 25 year-old college grad from South Central Los Angeles who has been trying to separate herself from the violence of her youth… finding it emotionally difficult. She is now in Chicago, but as she herself states, “No matter where you go, there you are.”
