Auto-generated transcript:My brothers and sisters, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has caused us to be Muslim, be raised as Muslims. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has caused us and granted us, inshallah, and we ask Allah to do that. To grant us Yawm al-Arafah, which here in America will be tomorrow, inshallah. And tomorrow, which is the 5th of June 2025, will be the Yawm al-Arafah in America. As per the sighting of the moon, Abdul Hijjah, which was sighted widely. And this day of Arafah on the 5th of June is based on actual physical sighting of the moon. As per the sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The Yawm al-Arafah, please note the word Arafah refers to the day of Arafah. And when we say Arafat, it refers to the plains of Arafat outside Mecca, where we stand on this day, B meaning the people who have gone for Hajj, they stand on that, in Arafat, the plain of Arafat on that day. So the Yawm al-Arafah is the name given to the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. Please note and understand. This has nothing to do with people standing in the plains of Arafat. This is coincidental. But the day is the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned in the Hadith about the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, that these are the best days of the entire Islamic year. He said, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, in the Hadith mentioned in Musnad Ibn Ahmad, there are no days greater and more beloved. to Allah than these first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. As we know, Daratul Qadr is the pinnacle of the last 10 nights of Ramadan, and therefore it is the best night of the year. Similarly, the day of Arafah is the pinnacle of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, and thus it is the best day of the entire year. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also mentioned these days, where He said, wa'l-fajri wa'l-ayyal in Ashr. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala took an oath, by the dawn, Pajr, and He said, the 10 nights, the layal in Ashr. Now the Mufassirin have agreed upon, that this refers to the, these 10 days and those nights, and the only night which is superior to that is Daratul Qadr, and therefore, the dalil of the superiority of these days, is from the Quran, and, from the Hadith, and from the Hadith of Rasulullah . Now, some of the merits of the day of Arafah, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned in Surat Al-Buruj, wa'l-samai zaati al-buruj, wa'l-yaumi al-mau'ud, wa-shahidin wa mashhud, by the sky containing, the Qura'at, the constellations, and by the promised day, and by a witness, and one witnessed. The first three ayat of Surat Al-Buruj. Regarding these ayat, Rasulullah s.a.w. said in the Hadith in Tirmidhi, the promised day is the day of resurrection, the one witnessed is the day of Arafah, and the witness is Friday. The sun does not rise or set upon a day, that is more virtuous than it, meaning, the day of, Arafah. Rasulullah s.a.w. said in the Hadith in Muslim Sharif, that there is no day on which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala frees, more people from the fire, than on the day of Arafah. Indeed, he draws near, and boasts of them to the angels and says, what do these people want? Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala proudly displays, these are my people. Undoubtedly, it would be a wasted opportunity, if we did not, try to be one of those people, who Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala draws close to him, and he forgives. Layatul Qadr is the night when the Quran was first sent down, and the day of Arafah is the day, when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala revealed the ayat of the Quran, where Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said, high spiritual, the different verses, and temporarily hand down the Quranic Kayn, Allah sabeed to you, the enemies of始رائيل. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also says, the conditions of Qaeda. He said, ückenbr kun Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala recipe guide the supposedMINISREVT'HABE görd внутри you. made that day a day of Eid, a day of festival. Sayyidina Umar, radhiallahu anhu, replied, he asked him, which ayah? He said, Where Allah said, today I have perfected for you your religion and completed upon you my blessing, and I have chosen for you Islam as your religion. Sayyidina Umar, radhiallahu anhu, replied, He said, surely we know that the day and place where it was revealed upon the Prophet ﷺ, he was standing at Arafat on the Friday, and this is the hadith in Bukhari. The fact that Allah ﷻ chose the day of Arafat to reveal this ayah makes it an even more blessed days. Now, what must we do on this day? Of course, the people who are, standing in Arafat, may Allah ﷻ make us among them. Those who haven't done Hajj, this is even more reminder for us that do Hajj as soon as you have the capacity to do Hajj. Don't delay it. Don't wait for, you know, some thing to happen. People say, I will go when I'm called. The only place that to which you will be called is, is your death. Only Malakul Maut will come. Other than that, what Allah has made, whichkten you cannot leave to that place, the Prophet ﷺ will give you, that is Allah ﷻ tenshukullah, when you wake up the next morning, once again, two days before Dhuhr comes, even though this is Arthur Allah Tiffany hurts his head, but this will be about where he wants to get killed in Stone seek Самan al-Kideen stripped of his judiciary, who making a Jamaal and these scholars as the 생각 here who are morons too many times, but for that who wants to nighttime, don't cancelled the서도 na'af of the will use the Mun instrument and start shooting. And after that, there is an hour in which no believing worshipper makes a supplication dua to Allah for good except that Allah answers it for him and he does not seek Allah's protection from evil except that Allah protects him from it. And this is the hadith, the meaning of that. The hadith is in Tirmidhi. We must definitely make as much dua as we can in this day. The second thing is that keep reciting the Tanbir of Allah SWT. La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu lahu al-mulk wa lahu alhamdu wa huwa ala kulli shayin qadeer. Rasulullah SAW said the best supplication, the best dua is the dua of the day of Arafah and the best of what I and the Prophet before me have said is La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu lahu al-mulk wa lahu alhamdu wa huwa ala kulli shayin qadeer. So that is the first one. Second one is to fast. It is highly recommended for those who are not in Hajj to fast on this day. Rasulullah SAW said it meaning fasting on the day of Arafah expiates, wipes out the sins of the past year and the coming year. Those sins will be forgiven and this is in Sahih Muslim. What an amazing opportunity. Let us not. leave that forgiveness for sins even which are not being committed. That is not a recommendation to commit sins. It's just a matter of saying that Alhamdulillah, Allah Almighty protects us. The people of, in Tirmidhi, it says the people of knowledge consider it recommended to fast on the day of Arafah except for those who are at Arafah. People who are in Arafah, they don't fast and they are not supposed to fast but everybody else, we should fast. Number two, that is number three now, is to seek forgiveness. Make istighfar. As we mentioned, Arafah is the day of immense forgiveness when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sets many people free from the fire. Even if you are not standing on the plains of Arafah, you can still seek for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's forgiveness from your home, your workplace, your masjid, everywhere. And so, spend the whole day seeking Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's pardon. Don't waste time in social media. Shut your phone down on that day. Don't waste time in anything. Just spend time in zikr and in making istighfar. Shaitan is not considered, this is in Musnad ibn Malik, Shaitan is not considered more abased or more cast out or more contemptible or angry on any other day than on the day of Arafah. That is only because he sees the descent of the mercy and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's disregard for great wrong actions. That is except from what he, Shaitan, was shown on the day of Badr. Arafah, therefore, the day of Yawm al-Arafah is a day on which Shaitan witnesses Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgiving even those who committed great wrongs because they make istighfar, they seek forgiveness, they make tawbah, and therefore, it's a day on which we should continuously make tawbah and never repent. Despair of the mercy of Allah. Number four, make a lot of zikr. For the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, Rasulullah s.a.w. recommended reciting Tahleel, La ilaha illallah, Tanbir, Allahu Akbar, and Tahmeed, Subhanallah and Alhamdulillah. He said, so for example, we can say Subhanallah, Walhamdulillah, Wa la ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar. Make this into something that you do continuously, especially in these days, but then of course, also throughout the year. In the hadith in Imam Ahmad, Rasulullah s.a.w. said, which means, there are no days greater and more beloved to Allah than these ten days of Dhul Hijjah. So increase in them your declaration of the oneness of Allah, Tahleel, your exaltation of Him, Takbir, and your praise of Him, Tahmeed. So La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, and praise of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, Subhanallah and Alhamdulillah. So Subhanallah and Alhamdulillah, Wa la ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar. You can also say and you should say, Subhanallah wa bihamdihi, Subhanallahirrazeem. These are the two words or kalimat which Nabi said, they are light on the tongue and they are very heavy on the scales. So let us not lose that opportunity. And number five, you can, after the Salah, also, so prepare for that, giving the qurbani Abu Talha. Wadil Anu reported, Rasulullah s.a.w. sacrificed two rams, one for himself and his family involved,
