Auto-generated transcript: Bismillah, walhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ala rasulillah ﷺ, my brothers and sisters, on the topic of dua. As I said to you, Ramadan is the month of dua, when we feel close to Allah ﷻ, when we have worked to try to develop our taqwa, and Allah ﷻ has helped us to become muttaqun, then we feel this unsiyat—we feel this closeness to Allah ﷻ—and we beg Allah ﷻ to help us. Inshallah, we ask Allah ﷻ to help us, and He will help us. When we are in this state, Allah taught us how to make dua. See the ayat of the dua of Zakariya ﴿ عليه السلام ﴾. Allah ﷻ said, he asked Allah nidaan khafia—in a small voice, not yelling and screaming, in a small voice—and then he began with putting his own weakness, his own helplessness, his own brokenness before Allah ﷻ. He said: *Oh Allah, I am an old man; my hair has become white, my bones have become weak. My wife is beyond the age of childbirth—she is also an old woman—but Oh Allah, give me an heir, give me someone to carry forward this work of deen.* Now imagine, this is what he is asking. This is the method. Allah ﷻ told us this whole thing in such detail to teach us how to make dua—small dua, khafi. You are a slave; I am a slave. We are talking to Rabbul Alameen. Go with that humbleness and humanity, and say: *Oh Allah, give me—I am begging you, Oh Allah, I am begging you.* Go like this, with humility, with humbleness, with brokenness. Put your problems before Allah ﷻ, and then ask Allah ﷻ—with your sight on His majesty and grace, on His power and authority. Don’t ask Allah ﷻ, putting all kinds of conditions in your mind. I don’t know whether it will happen. No doubt, ask Allah: *Oh Allah, give me, because You can give me. Give me because only You can give me. Give me because I don’t join partners with You. Because You have guided me to Tawheed, and I ask You, only You, because only You can give. La hawla wa la quwwata illa bik.* Oh Allah, give me, because I am begging You to give me. And inshallah, Allah will give you. Put power in your dua. And Allah taught us how to do that. Wa sallallahu ala nabiyyil kareem ﷺ, wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma'in, bi rahmatik ya Allah, wa rahmatullah.
