Verily, the prayer is something that keeps us away from lewdness and evil deeds._similarly, regarding the month of Ramadan and fasting, Allah Almighty said: "يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ". O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become people of taqwa. Taqwa is that beautiful state where a person has fear and awe of Allah in their heart, along with gratitude for all that Allah has given them. This combination leads to taqwa, which is being afraid of displeasing Allah, especially since we love Him more than anyone or anything else. And this is why Allah Almighty said, "I have prescribed fasting so that you may develop taqwa." The benefits of becoming muttaqeen are immense, as all the promises of Allah in the Quran are only for those who possess taqwa, not just for ordinary Muslims. While being Muslim is a great honor, to truly benefit from our faith, we must cultivate taqwa. And Ramadan is the perfect time to do so. Let us make the most of this opportunity, leaving no stone unturned, and doing everything for the sake of Allah's pleasure. وَرَحْمَةَكَ نَسْتَغِيثُ.
