Alhamdulillah Suppose you go to a bank manager, suppose you are an auditor, you go to the bank to audit the accounts, and you ask the bank manager, what is the balance, what is in your safe? He tells you, oh, I have lots of money. Are you mad? I mean, what kind of answer is that?
What do you mean, lots of money? You go to the teller.
What's your... Huh? How much do you have cash? No, I've got lots of money. I don't have enough. What answer is that?
Give me a number, man.
Give me a number. If you don't give me a number, as far as I'm concerned, you are sacked right now. Get out.
This is what will happen to us on the Day of Judgment.
That is what will happen to us on the Day of Judgment. I'll come back to this ayat. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in another place in the Quran, O you who believe, He's not talking about believers.
Save yourself and your family from the fire. From the fire.
If you don't have enough, Allah will give you money. That's it.
Our Heaven is a garden. It's in a corner.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in another place in the Quran, Save yourself and save your family from the fire.
The fuel of the fire is what? Is people, and нас, and stones, The fire which is so fierce and so hot, it will burn stones, lava, liquid rock, liquid fire.
وَعَلَيْهِ مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَازٌ لَا يُعَاسُونَ اللَّهَ أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُمَرُونَ And on that fire are established Malaika who are extremely severe, fierce, and they do what their Rabb has ordered them to do.
They won't say, Arre Sahib, Arre, Chande Chhor De, no, no, no.
The Hadith of Ibn Masud رضي الله عنه Abdullah ibn Masud رضي الله عنه One of the greatest of the Sahaba of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم He narrated, the Hadith in Tirmidhi That Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said The feet of the son of the children of Adam عليه السلام will not move from before their rub until they answer five things it's four things one of those two so five feet will not move I remember I saw a movie once on the on the plane I only see movies on the planes because we got long flights so you know see the movies so one movie I saw was a movie what a prison some story about this so in that prison the prisoners they are wearing shoes boots with metal soles the sole of the shoe of the boot is metal and all the corridors in that prison are made of steel mesh so you can imagine metal shoes on a steel mesh and metal shoes on a steel mesh and metal shoes on a steel mesh it's a big racket when they walk is a bang bang back so I'm thinking to myself why do we have this and they show a scene where there is a fight starts and the minute the fight starts the prison guards they throw a switch and when they throw the switch this mesh gets magnetized the electromagnet so the feet of those as they are running they are running and they are running and they are when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when with the time I gave you? What did you do with the life I gave you? He spent it scrolling on Instagram, on Facebook, on Snapchat. Six hours a day average. Six hours a day, seven hours a day. What you do for six or seven hours a day is called a job for which you should be getting a salary. Right? Who's paying you? Is somebody paying you to scroll for six hours a day? Throwing, squandering your life? So question on the Day of Judgment, what did you do with the life I gave you? Second question, what did you do with the life I gave you? What did you do with the youth? Your own youth. What did you do in the time of your youth? May Allah bless Ahmad. Ahmad will say, I came for Salatul Fajr by Jama'at. Alhamdulillah. May Allah give him istighfat inshallah.
What did you do with your youth? Because that's a time of maximum strength and maximum desire and for those who Allah has given resources, you have got maximum resources and everything. What did you do with that? Third question, what did you do with the rizq I gave you? Your money, your power, your authority, your influence, and it was. Where did you earn it from and where did you spend it? So that's the question which has two parts. The first one is, where did you earn it from? The second one is, where did you spend it? So that's the question which has two parts. The first one is, where did you earn it from? Where did you earn it from? And where did you spend it? Did you earn halal? Did you spend halal? You cannot say, well I earned any way I want, but you know I gave donation to the madasahab, I gave donation to the masjids. You can't throw money at God, believe me. That's not a Islamic concept. May be a concept somewhere else, not in Islam. Allah is a Allah,
Allah Ta'ala does not accept that which is haram. There is no zakat on haram wealth. You can pay zakat till, you can call it zakat. It's not accepted by Allah SWT. You can build masjid after masjid.
You can make hajj after hajj, umrah after umrah. You can give sadaqah after sadaqah. Everything will be zero if that wealth is haram.
Not accounted. Allah SWT does not account that wealth. Because that wealth is, Allah SWT is pure. Allah takes only what is pure.
Earning has to be halal.
And anyone who tries to sell you the story of, you know, as long as there is 15% of haram is permissible and, you ask him, find me the ayah or the, first of all, are you Allah? No. Are you the Rasul? No. So you are not going to legislate, right? You are going to interpret. So you tell me. You are giving me this number, 15%, 20% of haram is permissible. Give me the dalil. The only dalil I will accept is the kitab of Allah or the hukum of Rasulullah SAW. Not your sheikh and my sheikh and my peer sahib said this. I don't care.
Find me the, where in the Quran does Allah SWT say that it is permissible to mix some haram with some halal? Find me the ayah. I will place my amama at your feet. You can play football with it. I don't care. Find me the ayah. Find me the ayah where Rasulullah SAW said it is okay to mix some haram with some halal.
Find me this hadith of Rasulullah SAW. Is it there? Then where do you get this juraat, this shujaat to give this fatwa? I don't care who you are.
Where do you get this?
To make istihad which goes against the kalam of Allah and the kalam of the Nabi SAW.
That's why I usually give an example to people who make these statements. It's not a nice example but that's for people who have that thinking. This is a good example. I tell them that if I give you a glass of water, I tell you that there is no water. There is one drop of urine in it.
One drop.
Will you drink it?
There may be nothing. I mean I am just telling you. Right? And if there is one drop of urine in a glass of water, it has not changed the color, it has not changed the taste, you can't see it. There is no way you even know it is there.
Will you drink it?
And you are willing to say that 25%, 30%, 15% you put 15% of urine into a glass, it turns blue, it will turn yellow.
Please understand this, there is no games.
I don't make the laws. You don't like what I am saying, go talk to Allah about it. I am only telling you what the law of Allah SWT is. And I will not change my words to please anybody on the face of the planet. Because I have to answer to Allah SWT.
So I tell people, you don't like to hear me? Don't hear me.
Please.
Unhalal.
Unhalal. It does not change the quantum of your rizq. Don't let anyone fool you. And tell you that this is the reason why Muslims cannot get ahead in life. This is the reason why. Muslims don't progress because of all these rules. And you know, see these people and see that people. And unless you have interest-based income, unless you have interest-based loans, you cannot progress. All of this is complete and total garbage.
Complete and total garbage. What Allah has written, you will get. What Allah has not written, you will not get. Earn halal. And then spend halal.
Ya Allah, where did you spend your money? Ya Allah, in Malakpet, in the racecourse.
In Sikandarabad club. In Nizam club. Being a member of the club of drinkers and gamblers, you think you are respected. Allah is the greatest. What does it matter to you that I am going to the gym? That is the gym. There is no other gym. Go on to go to the gym. Go to the gym. Who is stopping you from going to the gym? Go to the gym. There are thousands of them. There are thousands of them. Just go. Do your exercise. Go home.
They think it is a matter of great izzah.
These are questions on the day of judgement. On the day of judgement, you will have to answer,
