Auto-generated transcript:In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In one ayat, Allah SWT mentioned four things. The first thing He said is, Every living thing will taste death.
Kullu nafsin. Whether the person is a good person or a bad person. Whether it is Pharaoh or the Nabi.
Extremes. Whether it is rich or poor, healthy or wealthy, healthy or sick, whatever. Kullu nafsin da'ikhatul mudh. If it was born, it will die, period.
First thing. Second thing. Fa innama tuwaffawna wujurakum yawmal qiyamah. Allah said, And you will receive, your full reward only on the Day of Judgment.
So, some reward Allah will give in this dunya. Both good and bad. But actual full reward only on the Day of Judgment.
Fa innama tuwaffawna wujurakum yawmal qiyamah. And then Allah SWT stated something which is the, which is a criterion between success and failure. We want to be successful. We want to have great careers. We want to have name, fame, you name it. But Allah SWT said the measure.
Faman zuhzi'ani nari wa udkhilal jannata faqad faas.
The one who has been saved from the hellfire and entered into Jannah, only that person is successful.
Faqad faas. Nobody else. In the Quran, Allah SWT used two words for success. Falah and fawz.
Falah and fawz. Muflihoon fa'izoon.
Falah is success, but which is temporary. Meaning, after the success, there is some more exam. You passed your metric exam. Successful, alhamdulillah. First in class, what not, what not. But can you say, okay, fine, I'm done. You're not done. That's only metric, 10th class. After this, you have intermediate. You pass that. Are you done? No. Then after that, you have your undergraduate. Are you done? No. Then after that, you have your postgraduate. And this goes on.
At the end of all that, you are starting your career. Will you get into the interview or not? Once you get into the interview, now what happens to your career? What happens to your career? You're looking at another 35 years.
So even though you are successful, there is some exam after that. But fawz, fawzoon azeem, Allah said, fa'izoon, may Allah grant us all of that, inshallah. Fawz is success, which is ultimate, daiman. Success, after this, there is no exam. Finished. Last exam. Now, it's only, enjoy. Last exam. After this, there is no exam.
So who is that person? Who is finally successful? The one who is freed from the hellfire and entered into Jannah. And the last thing which Allah mentioned, Jalal Jalaluhu, He said, He said, This life of this world is nothing but deception. Deception. See, even in the way things are stated. For example, you can say, the life of this world is deception.
But Allah did not say that. Allah said, the life of this world is nothing but deception.
You know, the emphasis is much more. Nothing but this.
So everything in this world which seems to be success, is not success.
Deception means what? Deception means whatever appears is not how it appears. Nowadays, thanks to AI, you are getting example after example of deception. People send these videos. There's one doing the rounds. There was one, first of all, of an elephant which, you know, was pushing a deer, a cheetal, out of a flood water. After some time, exactly same kind of flood water. If you notice the two things, it's exactly the same thing. Now this elephant is a tiger. And this elephant is helping this tiger. The tiger is now climbing on top of the elephant. And they say the elephant is helping the tiger. So they sent it to me. They said, is it true or false? I said, total false. They said, how do you say that? What is the AI? I said, you don't have to know AI. You have to know wildlife. There's no earthly way that it won't happen. First of all, because a tiger weighs what? 200 plus kilos. For 200 plus kilos of cat to climb on top of the elephant, what is he using? Four inch claws. . Can you imagine? If he climbs on top of the elephant from the ear on top of the head, what will he do to the ear, to the trunk, to the elephant? Completely lacerate it and destroy it, you know. There's not one drop of blood being shown on that film. Now who will believe that? Because people who don't understand wildlife. Oh, what's happening? What's happening? What's happening? You are being fooled. That's what's happening. It's a very benign form. There's much more malignant ways in which we are being fooled in this life. So fourth is Allah mentioned. The reason I'm saying this is because it is Allah did not simply send the Quran for us to recite it and say wah wah or something. No. The purpose of the nuzool of the Quran is to say, the nuzool of the Quran al-Kareem is to understand it and to live by it. It doesn't matter how much Quran you know. What matters is how much Quran is in your life. How much Quran do you actually need to know? You have to pray. If you know Surah al-Fatiha and you know one or two, may Allah have mercy on us, for most of us that's all we know anyway. . . . It's really Care deveined. So we pray. Then you have to ask Allah. Say, Anything I çıkih kal pisah, đị Powell memorization You buried he kind? Kehar ? Huh. I know. That depends on how much Quran I know. Anyway, that's a side issue. Point being that to understand and to implement in our lives. So, Kullu Rasim Zayikotul Motu Allah SWT is saying, what do we understand about death? Allah said it's going to happen. It is going to happen to everybody. Yesterday, my brother is here. So, we went to our parents' graves. And that Kabiristan has on my father's side, all the dadiyal is there. My grandfather's grave, our grandfather's grave is there and so on, so on, so on. So, we went there, you know, we walked through the whole Kabiristan and go to the graves and make Dua Makhfara for them and so on. And we were talking. We said, can they see us? No. Can they hear us? No. Do they know we are there? No. It's not my opinion. Allah SWT said this in the Quran. If somebody tells you that you go there and they are seeing you, they are hearing you and so he is lying. He is speaking against the Quran al-Karim. Allah mentioned this in the Quran. Allah SWT says to the Nabi SAW, the Quran is the Mukhatib, the Nabi SAW himself. Allah SWT says, you cannot make those who are in the graves to hear you. If Rasulullah SAW cannot make them hear, how can you make them hear? So, we went there. And I remember, my aunt, my Pupi who died recently, and I did her Janaza and I went for her burial. I was there, standing there and I was looking at the deep grave. She was buried in the same grave as my grandfather, as her father, so my Dada. So, narrow, deep, grave. My grandfather is not there in it. She is buried there, inside the same grave.
And I thought to myself, I always think to myself, one day I will go. Somewhere, wherever Allah SWT has decreed, I ask Allah SWT to grant us all our death in Medina Munawwara, inshallah, in Riyadhul Jannah, next to the Rawdah Mubarak. In Tahajjud, in Sujood, glorifying Allah SWT. We ask Allah to take us in this state, inshallah. And the Hadith SAW, He said, if you can die in Medina, die in Medina. He is not saying, go commit suicide in Medina, no. He said, if you can die in Medina, die in Medina because I will make Shafa'at for those who die in Medina. So, I make dua-e-Allah, only you can do this, I will.. How can I decide where to, I don't decide where to die, you decide where.. You make dua-e-Allah, only you can do this to me. I do not always do that. A person comes and says, I will make dua-e-Allah, only the one who dies, and the one who dies, I will make How can I decide where to die? I don't decide where to die. You can do it. So do it. The Rabbi said, do this. So do it.
But even if this death happens, and that's the warning for myself and all of us. Even if this death happens exactly the way I mentioned it.
If my Aqidah is not the Aqidah of Tawheed, if my Aqidah is Shirk, if I have wronged people, if I have taken away other people's Haq, if I have oppressed people,
you might say if all this happens, maybe this death won't happen. That's a different issue. The point is, even if this happens,
there is no Jannah for that person.
What is the Dalil for this?
Abdullah bin Ubay bin Salul. And Ubay bin Salul is his father. Abdullah bin Ubay was, the name of the father and son was the same. Abdullah bin Ubay was his Sahabi, his father's name also was Abdullah. So usually he's called Ubay bin Salul. He was the head of the Munafiqeen.
Where did he die? In Madinah.
And he got something that you and I can never get.
He got two things that you and I can never get. One, he got the shirt of Rasulullah s.a.w. as his kafa.
What is more barakah and what is bigger tabarruk than the kameez of the Rasulullah s.a.w. himself?
And then the second thing he got, which is even bigger than that, is Rasulullah s.a.w. himself led the Salatul Janazah of this man. What is Salatul Janazah? Dua Maghfara.
Maghfara is a dua, right?
So when Rasulullah s.a.w. is making dua of Maghfara for him, is he doing it with the correct niyyah or is he doing it just to show people? Nauzubillah.
So with the ikhlaas of the Nabi s.a.w., he is doing the Salatul Janazah for this man who is buried in the shirt of the Nabi s.a.w. When the Salatul Janazah is over, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala reveals Quran and says, even if you ask forgiveness for them, 70 times I will not forgive.
Where is he buried? In Baqi.
That's when I made that, thanks to your reminder, I did the further reminder in Baqi. And I said, in this place, the best of them and the worst of them are buried in the same place. In Baqi.
Where is Sayyidina Uthman buried? In Baqi. Where is Sayyidina Fatima? In Baqi. Where is she buried? In Baqi. Where is Sayyidina Aisha buried? In Baqi. Where is Ubaid bin Saloon? In Baqi. Same Baqi. Same sand, same earth, same something,
