Also said in Sajsa consummation And yesterday we talked about the first part where Allah said, كل نفس ذائقة الموت Everything, every living thing will taste death.
So what is death?
ما هو موت؟ What is death?
We think, generally people think, that everything ends with death. For example, if somebody is in pain, they are in hospital, they are suffering or something, at least his suffering is over.
کم از کم تکلیف تو ختم ہوئی. بولتے رہیم. So we think death is the end of the story.
But the truth, the reality is, death is the beginning of the story.
موت زندگی کے یا حیات کے اختتام کا نام نئی ہے. موت اختیار کے اختتام کا نام ہے.
Death is not the name of the end of existence. Death is the name of the end of existence. Death is the ability to do anything. موت زندگی کے یا حیات کے اختتام کا نام نئی ہے. There is a story of one of the Salaf As-Salihin, his daughter died before him. موت زندگی کے یا حیات کے اختتام کا نام نئی ہے. So one day he saw his daughter in a dream.
And he asked her, how is it?
She said, we can see everything but we can do nothing. And you can do everything, but you can see nothing.
so she has died she is telling her father in the dream we can see everything but we can do nothing but you in this life you can do everything but you see nothing that is the reason why we have the Kalam of Allah SWT because even though we cannot see anything Allah has told us what will happen we have the beautiful Hadith of Rasulullah narrated in Musnad Imam Ahmad narrated by Al-Bara bin Azib who said that Rasulullah said meaning of which is verily when the believing slave is about to depart this world and enter the hereafter this is the narration of the time of death I don't know if any of you have seen somebody actually dying I have seen and on the face of the person there may be nothing it may seem like nothing is happening they are eyes are shut, they are sleeping but everything is happening there
and that's why death has been compared to sleep because in sleep also the soul leaves the body goes to Allah SWT and if the death of the person is there Allah keeps it if it is not there it comes back so in sleep also you may see a dream you may see a very beautiful dream but the person may be sitting next to you they are seeing you but they don't see anything they are seeing you sleeping similarly you might be having a terrible nightmare but you are not sleeping you are not sleeping in this nightmare literally if you actually hook up ECG machines and stuff you might see his heart is his blood pressure is going through the roof his heart is beating very fast and so on he is running from some monster in the dream but on the face of it you don't see anything so here Rasool Allah is saying this is the time of departure at this time you are leaving verily when the believing slave is about to die you are leaving you are leaving you are leaving after leaving if you don't believe after leaving, you aren't going to die no fear you don't know no fear пَيْخُق are the hand of Allah No fear they aren't no no you are being what messengers yes Moses Mo it is correct present we ask all the people today put those hands put those hands now the whole acho Hakan ни kabar the ally the company is and sits by his head and he says Ya ayyatuha nafsu al mutmain irji'i ila rabbiki raadiya tam marziya fadkhuli fi ibadihi wadkhuli jannati Allah SWT tells us words O pure soul come out to the forgiveness and pleasure of Allah then his soul comes flowing out like a drop of water flowing from a cup there is no pain, no suffering just wonderful then Malakul Maul takes the soul and no sooner does he seize it but they take it the other angels take it and they place it in that shroud and the perfume then out of it comes the most excellent fragrance of musk to be found on the face of the earth then they ascend with it and they pass any group of angels that they pass by the angels ask who is this pure soul and they reply it is so and so, the son of so and so using the best names by which he was known on earth then they bring it to the lowest heaven and ask for the doors to be opened and it is opened for him those who are of high rank in each heaven accompany the soul until they approach the next heaven and so on until they reach the seventh heaven then Allah SWT says record the book of my slave in illiyun illiyun which is the highest heaven and take him back to the earth for I created them from it and I shall return them to it and then I will take them out from it again then his soul is returned to his body and the two angels come up and make him sit up and then the hadith mentions the questioning of the grave questioning in the grave and then the hadith mentions the soul of the disbeliever and what happens and then so when the disbeliever's soul is taken first of all the angels come with faces which are terrible very very horrible faces very dark very dark very dark very dark very dark very dark very dark very terrible may Allah protect us and then they say Malakul Maut says come out O impure O foul soul the soul doesn't come out it tries to escape it disperses through the whole body but there is no escape so then the soul is pulled out by Malakul Maut and Rasulullah SAW said it is like pulling out a skewer from the soul from wet wool which means every thread is ripped out and then the soul is wrapped in cloth which is stinking and which is which has hair inside it so it's very very rough and when it is taken up the angels who meet they say who is this and the soul is bent from the open and to the soul being bent when God Tri apro большой and on a Ellis seeming trying to make even a wife and to a ccht cry listen attend oh our блиng saga foods a guilt second but the story he is making up is with idols Mahatma says record this person in the sijin the lowest of jihanna and then his soul is cast down thrown down the soul then when he is taken up to the heaven and he comes down and abhishek said that the soul then is hovering over and sees the body being bathed sees the also the soul is there sees the janaza and when the grave is the soul body is lowered into the grave and the grave is closed Allah sends the soul and the soul inserts itself between the body and the kafir it does not go into the body between the party and the cover because the questioning and answering has to be done or which the body is questioned the soul is needed to necessary for the soul to be there for the question answer to be given so the connection of the soul and the body does not sever does not finish but it's a different kind of connection like it loud now we have the soul in a particular way in the cover of your still have the soul but not in this made and then the questioning is done. What do you say about the man who was sent among you, Rasulullah SAW? And then Rasulullah SAW said for the believing slave, when the questioning is done, Alhamdulillah, may Allah make it easy for us. Then the angels will open a door and they will show him Jahannam. You will see the fire, you will feel the heat. And they will say this would have been your abode, but for the mercy of Allah. And the door is shut and another door is open and he sees Jannah, which is beautiful, God himself. When he feels the beautiful breeze and he feels the beautiful perfume. And they say, but this will be your abode for the mercy of Allah. And that door is left open. And Rasulullah SAW said then the person will rest in the grave. And nobody will disturb him. And he will sleep there like he is sleeping in Jannah. And he will smell the fragrance of Jannah, he will feel the cold breeze of Jannah. So death is the beginning of life. But death is the beginning of a life with the beginning of life. And he will live. So he will live. where you have no control. In this life, we have control. We have control over ourselves. We have the ability to help others. If something happens to you, physically speaking, if you get sick, somebody will take you to the hospital, somebody will be there. There's a doctor, there's this one, that one, they're giving a medicine, whatnot, whatnot. All this is a problem. But once you die, if there is a problem, may Allah have mercy on us. If there is a problem, nothing can be done. No one is there to help. You and your problem, you stay there. So while we are alive, we are not alone. We are not alone. We are not alone. We are not alone in this world. We are not alone in this world. And no one in this world is alone. And how can you be alone? This is a matter for good, because when there's forced birth of a individual, when everything is going wrong in the world, it is you that have to take care of it, you have to take care of it. So the first thing we learn is to remain ṇ
mercy that Allah SWT left the door of istighfar open until the curtain is lifted. When you see the angels, istighfar is over. There is no istighfar after this. Once the haqiqat is open, there is no tawbah, there is no istighfar. Istighfar is to seek forgiveness. Tawbah is to return. Return meaning? Stop doing that. Go back to Allah SWT. Tawbah ila Allahi, tawbatan nasuha. Allah said, fastaghfiru, thumma tawbah ilaih. Make istighfar and then turn towards Allah SWT. And turn towards Allah SWT with complete sincerity. So istighfar means to feel there is a shurut of istighfar, the condition of istighfar. Number one is, to genuinely and sincerely feel ashamed and feel regretful and feel sad and feel terrible about whatever wrong that you did. No matter what it was. Number one. Number two, then make istighfar. Then seek forgiveness. If it is with Allah SWT, for example, the mistake was with regard to the huqooq of Allah SWT. For example, I was supposed to pray, I did not pray. That's the most common one. I was
supposed to pray, I didn't pray. So, make istighfar.
