had made our spirit as transparent as our faces, I think to myself and ask myself, what would my spirit look like? Right? Would it look nice and healthy and beautiful? Or would it look leprous and miserable? Like a, starving person. Because the food of the spirit is the zikr of Allah. The food of the spirit is the tilawat of the Quran. And if you say, well, you know, is my soul on a diet? Or is my soul getting enough sustenance? And that depends on how much Quran I read. It depends on how much Quran I know. And how much do I know? Do I know sufficient? Do I know enough? Today, we are, many people are very keen to do khutba, it seems, it will come to me sometimes, it'll say, I read Puran well, can I do the imamat ? Or this salah ? And I tell them, you just gave me the answer yourself, the answer it it, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, it cannot, Do not give khutbah to the one who wants to do it. I have never ever asked anyone that I want to do the Jummah khutbah. Never. Alhamdulillah, I replied. I have never ever asked somebody to say I want to lead salah. Never. Alhamdulillah. Because that is my tarbiyah. This is what my shayukh taught me. They said do not ask for imamate because Rasulullah said, do not give your imamate. Do not give your imamate. Do not give your imamate. Do not give it to the one who asked for it. So, if somebody is asking for the khutbah, reject it. If someone is asking for salah, reject it. Sometimes asking it directly, sometimes it is done politically, by getting others to ask on your behalf. Then you can say, oh, no, I never asked it. So and so asked it for me, but that so and so asked it for you, because you made it known that you wanted it, do it. And, they were really doing it on my behalf. That it became a habit. it on your behalf, it means that you were the one who was asking. Fear Allah. Fear Allah. That's all I can say. I said fear Allah. Because Allah knows what's in your heart. Allah knows what kind of manipulation you are doing. And Allah will tell you, may Allah forgive you, because if He doesn't forgive you, then this is something that you will be called to account for. I asked Allah to save us from being called to account, because I said, Aisha Siddique Kharazanah reports, the Prophet said, the one who Allah takes account of, will be destroyed. The one whose account Allah takes, the one who Allah calls to account, will be destroyed. We ask Allah to save us from being called to account. Rabbana falfil Allah, dhruvana wa kaffir Allah. Siyyatillah wa tawaffana maalikurraat. Sallallahu ala nabiyyil kareem wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajmain. Bi rahmatika Ya Rahman Rahim.
