Allah SWT says, when my slave remembers me inside himself, in his heart, I remember him within myself in a way that suits my majesty and grace. When my slave remembers me in company, like we are sitting here, Alhamdulillah, Allah says, I remember him in a company superior to his. Because this is, Allah is remembering us. On his arsh. And who is around the arsh? The mukarrabin of the malaika. Right? And Nabi SAW said, when Allah SWT says, I remember you, Allah will remember you, specifically mention you by name. You know, maybe your local MLA is enough for us. And he says, I had gone to this party and he was asking, where is so and so? What will you feel? Oh, this man remembered me. This man remembered me. Allah SWT is saying, I will remember you. I will remember you. Do you have a sense of that? So the remembrance being close to Allah SWT means you are somebody who Allah remembers. You are somebody who Allah SWT mentions. That's the sign of closest to Allah SWT. How will that happen? When we remember Allah. Conditional statement, you remember me, I remember you. Then Allah said, Make shukr. Be grateful to me. Do not be ungrateful. One of the, one of my favorite scholars, Ulama Muhammad Mutawalli Ash-Sharawi, Rahmatul Ali. He was a great scholar from Al-Azhar, from Egypt. He says, whenever you lose something, whatever it is, maybe you lose your wallet. Maybe you lose a business. Maybe you lose a job. Maybe you lose some aspect of health. May Allah protect us from all of these things. Maybe you lose a job. Maybe you lose a near, dear one. He says, don't think only about what you lost. Consciously think about what you still have. And you will find that what you still have is always more than what you lost. Ajiv. For example, may Allah protect us from all this. Somebody might say, so and so lost his life. He lost his eyesight. May Allah protect us from all this. He lost his life. He lost his life. May Allah protect us from all this. May Allah protect us from all this. So, eyesight loss is not a simple thing. It's a very, very major thing. It's so major that Allah said, if I take away the eyesight of my slave and he does not complain, and he says, Allah says, what else can I give him except Jannah? You lose your eyesight, which is in this world. At some level it will go, if you live long enough, it deteriorates anyway. But in exchange of that, you get Jannah. So the person may lose his eyesight, but he still has all his faculties. He still can walk and he can do talk and he can, you know, do many things. He is healthy. He can digest his food. Just ask somebody who has heartburn. I'm not talking about some major illness. You go eat in some daawat or something, you come back and you can't sleep all night because you know, acid reflux. How much do we need to thank Allah SWT? So that is why when the slave gets, sees something beautiful, he says, Subhanallah. When he gets something beneficial, he says, Alhamdulillah. If he loses something, he says, Inna lillah wa inna ilayhi rajeun. Rajeun. Zikr of Allah SWT. In every stage. Wa askurooni wa askurooni. Wa askurooni wa takfurooni. The thing to do is to consciously thank Allah SWT. Allah is not saying feel thankful. He is saying, wa askurooni. Make shukur. Express gratitude. Express gratitude. If you think about it, just think about one simple thing. If something is not going right, does someone have to encourage you to say something about it? Automatically. If it's a little bit cold, If it's hot, Complaint of the fall. Everything. Our mother used to say, People used to tell her, How does it get hot in summer? What do you say? What do you say? Why are you complaining? Somehow, what do you expect? And we are talking about the days when no one is going to tell you No one had even heard the word AC. AC ran into the thai. And we had fans. Give children memories. When they remember you, let them remember you for good things. Do the good things. When I think about my parents, these are the things I remember. I used to pray tahajjud. I used to make sugar. I used to make sugar all the time. My mother would make. Give them memories. Give children memories which will be with them. Because everyone goes through hardship. When you go through hardship, you remember. How do I behave? How did my father behave? How did my mother behave? I behave in that way. We don't degenerate and fall by the wayside. No. No. Fath kuru niyath kuruku. So let us make this niyath. That constantly we will make dhikr of Allah . Final point. Allah said, today is Friday. I'm mentioning this ayat also. Allah said, وَإِذَا نُوضِعَ لِصَلَاةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمْعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا وِلَا ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَزَرُوا الْبَيْهِ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ وَإِذَا قُدْيَتِ الصَّلَاةِ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعْلَكُمْ تُفْلِهُمْ Allah SWT says, When the call for the Salatul Juma'ah is given, Adhan for Juma'ah is given, فَاسْعَوْا وِلَا ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ Allah didn't say, يَمْشِي Allah didn't say, stroll and go, you know, in a relaxed way. No, He said, run, make zayi, make effort. إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ Toward the Dhikr of Allah SWT, which is the Salatul Juma'ah, the Khutbah and so on. وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ No, before that, وَذَرُوا الْبَيِّ And leave your trade. So there are two kinds of Hukums. One Hukum is to make effort towards the Dhikr of Allah SWT. And the second Hukum is to leave profit, leave your business, leave your trade. So one is a Hukum of action and the other one is a Hukum of frustrating and stopping. Leave the trade. Now, Allah is not saying, leave your haram trade. No. There's no question of haram. It's talking about halal. And halal business is, to do halal business is, for the sake of Allah, is literally, the reward of that is Ibadah. Allah will reward that as He rewards worship, Inshallah. That trade, Allah is saying, leave it. Go for the Salat of Jummah. And then when the Salah is over, Allah did not say, now rush towards wealth. Make effort towards wealth. Allah said, now spread in the land. فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ Scatter in the land, spread in the land. وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضِلِ اللَّهِ Search for the Fadhal of Allah. Now think about the Quran Al-Kareem, every single word, we need to think about it and reflect on it. Allah did not say, find your, Allah did not say, create your wealth. Allah did not say, work for, Allah said, find it. So supposing I request you, find diamonds here, in this room, what will you see? Where are the diamonds?
