And therefore in Tawheed we begin with denying the worship of anyone and everyone. And then we confirm that worship is only to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Tawheed begins with Nafi. La ila. There is no God. La ilaha. There is no God. Illa Allah. Except Allah. And that is the isbat. That is where we confirm that except Allah. That is the fundamental principle in Islam, is to behave with integrity. And that's why in Surah Al-Ma'idah, the first ayat, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said, Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu, awfu bil'uwa, wal'uquud. Allah said, O believers, honour your obligation. Honour your trust. Honour whatever has been given to you in amanah. Honour your word. Honour your promises. Anything which begins with Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu is a hukum of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. It's a command of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. It is obligatory on us to obey that command. So Allah said, Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu, awfu bil'uquud. O you, O believers, O you who believe, honour your obligations. Honour your word. Honour your promise. I remind myself and you that if we do not do that, then we come under the punishment of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. In Surah Al-Anfal, Allah said, Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu, awfu bil'uquud. Ya ayyuha alladhina amanu, la takhoonu Allah wa rasoola, wa takhoonu amanatikum wa antum ta'alamoon. Allah said, O you who believe, do not do khiyana. Do not betray Allah and His Messenger, nor betray knowingly the things entrusted to you. And this includes everything which Allah has ordained, which includes, which includes your, anything as in material thing, and it also includes anything as in something which has been, which you have been entrusted with as a trust. Meaning, something that somebody says, this is a secret, this is something which I am telling you in confidence, and do not share this with anyone. All of these come under amanat. All of these things are things which are entrusted, which are something which we are obliged to, we are obliged to fulfill and not to betray those trusts. Right? Not to do khiyana in it. Allah said, indeed Allah commands you to return the trusts to their rightful owners. Meaning, keep your word, keep your promises, don't betray. And when you judge between people, judge with fairness. What a noble commandment from Allah to you. Surely Allah is all-hearing, all-seeing. Rasulullah , in a Sahih Hadith, in Bukhari and Muslim, he said, narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr , who said that Rasulullah said, there are four characteristics. There are four characteristics. Whoever has them all is a pure hypocrite. He's a pure munafiq. And whoever has one of them has one of the characteristics of hypocrisy. He has one of the qualities of nifaq. Until he gives it up, when he makes a covenant, and these are the four qualities. One, when he makes a covenant, he betrays it. When he speaks, he lies. When he makes a promise, he breaks it. And when he disputes, he resorts to all. Obscene speech. Four characteristics of the hypocrite, of the munafiq. What are they? First and foremost, when he makes a covenant, he betrays it. He gives a promise, I will do something, he does not do it. He makes a promise, I will not do something, and he does it. He makes a promise, this is secret between you and me, I will not tell anybody else, but he goes and tells somebody else. Right? So first one, makes a covenant, he betrays it. Number two, when he speaks, he lies. Third, when he makes a promise, he breaks it. And four, when he disputes, he resorts to obscene speech. He resorts, he curses, and so on, when he speaks. Four qualities of munafiqeen. And Allah said, They will be in the worst fire, the worst pit of Jahannam. Right? And Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, If someone has all of them, then they are completely and totally munafiqeen, completely and totally hypocrites. But if they have one of them, then they have one of the characteristics. So 25% hypocrite. If he has two, he is 50% hypocrite, and so on. Last one, Again a hadith in Bukhari, Sayyid hadith, Where Abu Hurairah said, Rasulullah said, Whoever has wronged someone with regard to his honour or anything else, Whoever has wronged someone with regard to his honour or anything else, Let him ask for his forgiveness today, that is right then, Before a day, When there will be no more, When there will be no dinar and no dirham, And if he has any righteous deeds to his credit, They will be taken from him, commensurate with the wrong that he did. And if he does not have any good deeds to his credit, Then some of the bad deeds of the person will be added to his burden. Imagine, Going to Jahannam, With somebody else's bad deeds. How shameful and evil is that? How shameful and evil is that? Right? Ask forgiveness today. If you did something wrong, admit it, and seek forgiveness. And don't wait, because tomorrow never comes. Tomorrow we think will come for us. But nobody is guaranteed a tomorrow. All we have is today. Don't let the night pass on you, Unless you have sought forgiveness for what you did wrong. If you did wrong, you know you did wrong. Don't justify it. Don't sit on it. Do what you know you should do. And if you don't do, no problem. Believe me, every single person in the world, Is in need of good deeds on the Day of Judgment. And frankly, between you and me, As far as I'm concerned, Nothing pleases me more than to receive the good deeds, Of people who have been making a Reba against me, Or people who have wronged me, Or people who have betrayed my trust, And so on and so forth. Oh, I love it. I absolutely love it, That I, That I will get their good deeds, If they have not sought forgiveness for what they did, And if Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala does not forgive them. So, please, save yourself. Save yourself from the fire, Because a time will come, When there will be no one to save us, From the fire.
