No, in this country it is okay. In that country it is okay. You can borrow money and build a house, first house is okay. This is your father's day. In Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah said, أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبْعَدِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبْعَدِ فَمَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا خِزْيٌّ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ أَشَدِّ الْأَذَابِ فَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ Allah said, Do you take something from the book? I believe in this, I don't believe in this. Allah then said, For those who do this, He said, Is there any reward? And Allah used this word, Jazaa in a sarcastic way. Because He is talking about punishment. Allah said, Is there any reward for those who do so among you? Other than disgrace in this worldly life and being subjected to the harshest punishment. أَشَدِّ الْأَذَابِ On the Day of Judgment. For Allah is never unaware of what you do. فَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ Allah says that for those who pick something, pick something and leave something. Selective obedience is disobedience. Selective obedience is disobedience and selective obedience is arrogance. Because Allah said, I am Abdullah, I am the slave of Allah. But when Allah is Ahkam, when His orders and commands come before me, I will decide what I will obey. Allah will not decide. I will decide. So I will not do it. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا لِلَّهِ And that's the reason Allah is saying, أَشَدِّ الْأَذَابِ The worst punishment. Now you might say, well, after all the guy did something. Islam is not something. Islam is يَا يُوَلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أُدْقُرُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَدًا Completely. The tragedy is that we are, we are not doing anything. We are not doing anything. The tragedy is that we ourselves don't understand that the system that Allah sent, which is Islam, is the system which promises in this world a life which is full of grace and barakah and khair and aafiyah where people get their, where justice is established, where people get, everybody gets their rights, where people get their rights, where people get their rights, where people are kind to each other, they are compassionate with each other, they are helping each other. This is wrong with life, that is wrong with life, and you know, global warming and plastics and pollution and this and, I mean, everyone has got a problem. And the reason is, because you do not want to obey Allah . Then you have stupid people who sit and say, if there is a God, why is this? This is because of you, not because of God. Allah is there, Allah has set a system, you don't want to obey, follow the system, you want to trash the whole system, you create your own system, which gives you all this, you know, trouble and pain and suffering, and you want to blame Allah for this, The beauty of Islam, is that, it gives you a beautiful way of life, in this world and Jannah, and the Akhirah, Allah swt, did not, did not say, the world you have to suffer and I will torture you and I will do this and do that. But in the Akhara you will get Jannu. No. I will give you a beautiful life in this world and I will give you Jannu. We say, no, no, no. I want misery in this world. I want disease. I want problems. I want accidents. I want economies to collapse. Completely, complete nonsense. I mean, this is the thing which I fail to understand. This is what we do. And we disobey Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. For most of us, the primary reason why we fall into this is two things. One is apparent profit, apparent benefit, thanks to whichever shaitan you are following. And the second one is pure oppression. The desire to be popular. So you go to some place where you know it is haram, but you know, if I don't go, what will people say? You are celebrating the wedding of your son or your daughter. There is a Shari'i method of doing that, which costs nothing, zero, which is full of dignity and beauty and the zikr of Allah. No. I must do it in the worst possible way. All forms of khurafat, all forms of showing off. Israf everywhere. I have been going and picking up, you know, my brother and my sister-in-law and all from the airport. Two, three times.
