We live in this world for a few years, that few years will get us Jannah forever. Condition that life must be in a way which pleases Allah. That's the first thing. And Allah did not leave this random to say, okay, you know, guess, figure out your, no, Allah sent us a model. Allah sent us a living model. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala caused this living model and all the details of that to be preserved. Allah created a whole generation of people who preserved everything. How Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, what he ate, what he drank, what he liked, what he did not like, what he, how he spoke, what he spoke, including, for example, I always give this example. You are not free for some reason, right? So, what is that reason? You are not free because you are not free for some reason. I am not free because I was doing brain surgery in the hospital on somebody. I was not free because I was doing open heart surgery and transplanting somebody's heart. I was not free because I was in the Kaaba making tawaf. But I have a jinn which takes me from here to Makkah and brings me back. I am not free because... You are not free doing what? You are not free because you are watching some show. You are not free because you are not doing anything. You are not free because you are... You know? Allah knows best. Point I am making is if you are not free for some tremendous reason like that, Allah, okay, we understand. But you are not free, why? You are not free to learn something which is beneficial for you for the Akhirah, which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala took the trouble to send the Nabi alayhi salatu wasalam, he took the trouble to have his whole life preserved for us and we are saying to Allah, now hold on a second, I am not free. I will come when I am free. Right? Ajeeb, eh? Then we wonder, we are making... Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah, nothing happens. How will anything happen? And because the seerah we don't know, because the seerah is not in our lives, everything becomes difficult. Why is it difficult to come for Salatul Fajr? Sheikh Abdullah, he tells me, Salatul Fajr, same people for the last six years, the same people are in Salatul Fajr, not one person is more. Except for Ramadan. Ramadan, of course, everybody is there. Why is it difficult? Because we don't know the seerah. If we knew the seerah, if the seerah was in our lives, Salatul Fajr is not difficult. Tahajjud is not difficult. I would never miss it. Tilakutul Qur'an, not difficult. Sweetness. And so on and so on and so on. Right? But because the seerah is not in our lives, everything is difficult. The seerah is the means of ease. Of rah. If you feel the seerah, you feel the world, if you feel the seerah, you feel the end, inshaAllah. It's not history. Seerah is not a nice story. Seerah is not a history of, you know, this great leader of the Arabs. No! Seerah is for our lives. Our own lives. And when we have the seerah in our lives, everything becomes easy. All decisions become easy. Should I do this business or that business? Very easy. Should I eat this or that? Very easy. Who should I marry? Very easy. If there is a dispute, what should I do? Very easy. Everything is easy. Because we have the model of the Nabi Ali . You know, those of you who know me, you know my interest in history and I read biographies. I can guarantee you, there is no other person on the face of the earth, who ever lived, in whose life you have an example for anything that happens to you. If you are happy, what must I do? See the life of Muhammad . If you are sad, if there is a bereavement, somebody dies, somebody you love dies, what should I do? See the life of Muhammad . If tomorrow I become the king, what should I do? See the life of Muhammad . I am a king, I lose my kingdom, what must I do? See the life of Muhammad . See the life of Muhammad . I am in a conflict, what must I do? See the life of Muhammad . I am in a conflict, what must I do? See the life of Muhammad . I have a negotiation, what must I do? See... Every single thing you can imagine. From A to Z, see the life of Muhammad . But how will you do that? When you have no interest. When you say, I, if I am free, I will go. Seriously, brothers and sisters, I don't know when we will wake up. May Allah have mercy on us. We pray janaza after janaza. One day somebody will pray Mahajanaza. No reminders. We are like zombies. We are like people who are high on hashish or something. We don't know what's happening in the world. Please let us wake up. Let us wake up. Let us look at ourselves and let us say a time will come when I have to face Allah . We don't know when this time will come. Let me at least start preparing. Give some excuse. Ya Allah, I was not ready but I tried. No. Ya ask Allah to help us to do that which pleases Him . And to be focused. Only on the Ridha of Allah. And to know that this Ridha of Allah can be attained only by the way of Muhammad . There is no other way. The road, the Tariq to the Ridha of Allah is this Sirat al-Mustaqim which is the Tariq of the Rabbi . And that is the reason why we need to learn about the Seerah and study the Seerah and not go when you are free. But to make time. And to know that.
