On today's episode Kristin, speaks with Pastor Stephanie Lape, she is the pastor of Cross & Crown Lutheran Church, and an author and speaker about leaning on God in difficult times and how God is a God of Guidance everyday 24/7 not just on Sundays at church.
Pastor Lape shares daily practices we can use to be more connected with God and move away from the anxiety, stress and worry that social media, the news and our minds can often elevate. We discuss how serving, and choosing to act in love helps us feel better, be happier and more joyful.
We also discuss that we are not our emotions, our circumstances or our minds and how we can lean into our faith and daily practices to stay grounded.
