S1 Ep 2Repent [Running From God Series]
The book of Jonah not only shows us the amazing compassion and mercy of God's heart, but it also reveals what our hearts are like: rebellious. Jonah is desperately trying to flee from the presence of God, and God gives him a taste of what that's like. For three days and three nights, Jonah sits in the stomach of a fish, slowly disintegrating in absolute darkness. And then he realizes, "What am I a doing?!" He stops running and turns toward God. And God meets him right there. With mercy.
S1 Ep 1Run [Running From God Series]
We all run from God in certain circumstances or areas of our life. For Jonah, he was running from extending God's compassion to an evil city. Jonah loved God’s compassion for himself and for his people, but he didn’t want others, especially Nineveh, to experience God’s compassion. Listen in as we hear from Pastor Tim Porter about how God changes Jonah's heart, while extending mercy to a large city.
