At Marcy Correctional Facility in New York, 43-year-old inmate Robert Brooks was fatally beaten while handcuffed and the incident was filmed on bodycam footage. Robert Brooks died on December 10, one day after correction officers were filmed assaulting him. The AG and the media call the in custody death “shocking and disturbing.” Thirteen Correctional Officers and a nurse were involved. Eric Tansey, a former police officer and Jon, a former correctional officer talk about the case.
