The Office of Neighborhood Safety introduces your local Neighborhood Safety Community Council, better known as the NSCC! The NSCC is a group of community members from the different wards around the city. They are appointed by the mayor and are charged with listening to the community and coming up with innovative ideas and programs for the purpose of crime prevention. Today’s guests include NSCC Chair Diane Levendusky, and Council Members Coral Garner and Shyrisse Tisdle. Together they talk about their work and aspirations for the council.
