With Congress back in town all sides are stepping up to further the discussion on the gun debate. In August, 53 people died in mass shootings across the United States. Now the debate over the 2nd Amendment extends to background checks, red flag laws, and the sale of certain types of weapons. This week we talk to Amy Swearer, she serves as the Senior Legal Policy Analyst at the Heritage Foundation. She joins us to discuss the fine line between tackling gun violence while also not trampling civil liberties.
