5 Ways Travel Will Change Post-Pandemic

What do you think will be the changes we see in travel in a post-pandemic life? How do you see it affecting the way you travel? We have had quite some time to think about life post-pandemic but now that we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (thank you vaccine), we feel it is a great time to talk about how travel will have changed going forward. This was the topic we were prepared to discuss during our time on MSNBC with Yasmin Vossoughian but they quickly found out that Heather had caught COVID while we were in Costa Rica and that made for a better story for them. But, since we have this podcast we can finally get to discuss the 5 ways we see travel changing in a post-pandemic world and dive into the fundamental shift in the way people are traveling that we see as a positive. Enjoy! Today's podcast is sponsored by Oregon State University ECampus. What did we miss? Which of these resonated the most with you? Top 20 Songs

What are your go-to jams? Who are your favorite artists that you can listen to over and over again? Are you a top hits listener or a whole album listener? Today, Heather & I will be diving into our top 10 songs (20 between the two of us) and while this is something a little different in terms of topic, we do hope you get a kick out of whether we have ANY that are on both lists. It is another list episode and the same rules apply, we don't know what is on each other's lists and, of course, there will be honorable mentions. This episode is not a technical look at music and there are genres that I know nothing about so take this all as just our personal opinions (& with a grain of salt). Did any of your top 20 songs make it on our lists as well? What songs did we miss that you think should have made it? Let us know by tagging us in a post on Instagram at @ExtraPackofPeanuts. Where To Go & When w/ Sherry Ott

In her 11 years of living nomadically, she’s circled the globe multiple times visiting all 7 continents. She lived in Vietnam, hiked the Annapurna Circuit with her father, finished the 10,000-mile Mongol Rally, walked the Camino de Santiago, kayaked in Antarctica, herded reindeer in the Arctic, and drove an auto-rickshaw across India. While quarantining in her home in Denver - she used her time to work on a new Ebook, Where to Go, and When. The book provides inspirational ideas of where to travel each month (for when we can travel again). For each month she chose 3 destinations to satisfy different travel styles (epic adventure, domestic trip, and an international trip or festival) with a short overview of the interesting, cool and quirky things to do there. The destinations were chosen based on trips Sherry has actually done over her 14 years as a travel blogger. 16 Best Places to Live for 3 Years

You are really digging our "countdown" style podcasts lately so we are giving you another one but this time we are diving into the 16 best places to live for at least 3 years. We aren't talking about vacations or short-haul stays but living day to day life like a local, embracing the culture fully, & truly settling into the places we discuss in today's podcast. This one is a little more high stakes because Trav has a love of buying real estate and so at any point one of these places could become a reality so I (Heather) had to think long and hard about the possible future commitment this episode could be making for me. We each picked 7-8 places (hello, honorable mentions) where we could live for 3 years and you'll have to listen to see if we had any places make both lists. Can anyone say moving possibilities?! Today's podcast is sponsored by Oregon State University ECampus. What places made your list? Let us know by tagging us in a post on Instagram at @ExtraPackofPeanuts. Top 10 Favorite States

Today is all about Heather & I's top 5 favorite states we have been to and that means it is time for some good-hearted disagreements and maybe a mention or two of a few states that we still want to visit. This is another episode idea straight from our "Ask Us Anything" call-out on Instagram but we knew this would definitely need its own full episode. Of course, this wouldn't be a "Top List" without some honorable mentions so who do you think had the most of those? Today's podcast is sponsored by Oregon State University ECampus. Which states made it to your top 5 favorites list? Let us know by tagging us in a post on Instagram at @ExtraPackofPeanuts. Only One Country...For The Rest Of Our Lives

Today we are answering one of our listener's questions that we received through our Instagram and we thought it was so good that it deserved its own podcast episode. We all know how much Travis loves his lists and he agonized over it up until this recording (TBH it was during the recording as well) while Heather was able to put her's together in less than 5 minutes but that is not to say that there wasn't a ton of pros and cons to navigate. The question is (drumroll please...) if you could only go back to one country for the rest of your life, where would you choose? And of course, Trav has his ground rules for this question & is the flip flop master which you will hear when you check out this episode. Today's podcast is sponsored by Oregon State University ECampus. If you could only go back to one country for the rest of your life, where would you choose?
