Through the middle ages traveling troops of thespians; Jokers in the Kings Courts in England and France and throughout Europe til modern times – days of radio with Abbott and Costello and Edgar Burgen and Charlie McCarthy to Cid Caesar on Your Show of Shows….when done right, sketch comedy is always FUN...this week we examine the history of skit comedy in general and then the modern form – Sat Night Live!
