Everything Old is New Again Radio Show - 213 - Strange Things/Kids centric movies
We have recently heard that the Netflix hit show, Stranger Things, after completing a successful season 2, has been renewed for another 8 episodes, for season three, which will come out soon, and all indications are that there will be a season four and five as well. This raises the question of the genre of movies and TV shows made that feature a group of pre teen and teenage children as the heroes. Do these TV shows and movies appeal to only kids or do they appear to the kid in all of us? Have most of us grown beyond these stories, or is the strange fascination with these stories reduces us back to the days when we experienced our own kid adventures….?
