Our guest today is Valerie Monroe. Val is a return Everything Is Fine guest who appeared in one of our most popular episodes ever. She was a longtime beauty director at O, The Oprah Magazine and she’s written hundreds of articles on a wide range of topics for many national publications, including The New York Times. Val writes the Substack newsletter, How Not to F*ck Up Your Face and, as of recently!, an advice column on The Cut of the same name.
