From the moment her mother gave birth to her, Mary Bell’s life has been accompanied by pain and death which led her to destruction throughout her childhood. At the age of 11, Mary had committed a pair of killings in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK in the span of just two months. She was dubbed “The Tyneside Strangler” for this and her story is a sad and terrifying as it shows what can happen to a child that’s been mistreated.
