For more than three decades now, the U.S. Commonwealth of Virginia has been beset by the unsolved Colonial Parkway murders. It’s considered the state’s most notorious case of who-done-it -- a string of brutal killings of four young couples, romantically linked or not, between October 1986 and September 1989. No obvious motives were established; there were no signs of robbery or sexual assault. But one thing was common: all 8 victims were brutally murdered either by strangulation, stabbing or shooting. And the string of killings untwined like scary stories told in the dark, without clue who or when the killer would strike again.
