If the Malaysian civil service were a company, it would be the biggest employer in the country. With 1.4million employess, offices in every major towns in the country, it receives 1.2 million job applications a year and conducts more than 150, 000 interview.
It is, fortunately for us, not listed in the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange but all of us are still shareholders, customers as well as indirect employers. We speak to Datuk Segarajah Ratnalingam, Deputy Chairman of the Public Service Council to find out more.
