In the crucible of the passion around Barack Obama's historic campaign, two Middle Eastern wars, and the impending economic collapse, John Legend and Roots drummer Questlove hashed out the idea to dig through their crates and came up with 10 covers from the glory years of soul in the '60s and '70s.
