First, Economic Minister Rafizi Ramli made a statement about Malaysians' habit of eating out putting a dent on their household income, which drew many mixed reactions. Then, Rawang ADUN Chua Wei Kiet posted in support of the minister, by talking about how eating Maggi instant noodles at home costs five times less than ordering them in a restaurant - which, to no one's surprise, drew derision from social media users. We discuss whether politicians should just cool it already with trying to create content for social media.
