The Health Ministry recently said that removing sugar subsidies hasn't reduced the amount of sugar Malaysians consume. In response, they're considering introducing the sugar tax here. We speak to Goo Chui Hoong to talk about why the subsidies failed, whether a sugar tax would work in Malaysia, and whether we should consider charging a fat tax as well.
