Yasmin Ahmad first burst into Malaysian public consciousness when the famous Petronas ads came out and everyone who saw them were universally moved and astounded by the sensitivity and power of the ads.
She then followed up those ads with a number of movies which were loved and hated in almost equal measure but were found acclaim the world over.
It has been 3 years since legendary ad executive and director Yasmin Ahmad passed away suddenly.
Today we mark the anniversary of her death with a tribute show, talking to her sister Orked Ahmad, and her long time friend and colleague, Jovian Lee.
