Given the proximity and similarities between both Indonesia and Malaysia, just how does Indonesia fare in the education sector? Are their issues similar to ours? i.e. Is there some kind of emphasis to put English first? Is the percentage of good quality teachers hard to maintain? We find out from Professor Anita Lie, an educationist whose research study on English curriculum, has been recognised globally.
