He put up a video on Youtube of himself conversing in Malay and thought nothing of it until a month later when he received over 900 new friends requests on Facebook. As a result, he started a Facebook fan page, which he used as a platform to teach English, and that quickly climbed to 5,000 likes in a short time. Meet Bahasa Melayu-speaking Cikgu Ben Bradshaw, an American student, currently an intern in the Public Affairs department in the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
