Show Notes
History in the form that we read in textbooks, looks like a fixed story of a time that’s far removed and a thing of the past. Having frequent conversations about different aspects of a particular time of the past keeps history richer, alive, and more relatable. We speak with two history enthusiasts who are bringing forth some lesser-known stories about our road to independence, in their exhibition titled “Jalan Merdeka: Traversing the routes to Merdeka”. Our guests are Tunku Zain Al-Abidin Tuanku Muhriz, Chairman & Lead Curator of the Asian Heritage Museum, as well as Netusha Naidu, Curator & Co-founder of Imagined Malaysia. The exhibition runs throughout September at Carcosa Seri Negara.
