We get all sorts of recommendations from Google, Spotify, Amazon, and Facebook and all of them have this in common: data and algorithms. They're a huge part of our lives and their role is about to get bigger. Data and algorithm is now used to filter resumes, decide whether you get a loan on a house, and in some countries, even used to assess criminals. But are all these data as objective and neutral as they seem to be? Do numbers lie?
