Last year, the Pakistani social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch was murdered by her own brother for posting allegedly controversial photos of herself online. After Qandeel's high-profile murder in July 2016, the Pakistani government passed new anti honour-killing laws. But such cases of homicide in Pakistan, made in the name of preserving honour, are still rife - at least 280 cases were recorded by the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan from October 2016 to June this year. We talk about this issue with Dr. Nadia Agha, Director of the Institute of Gender Studies at Shah Abdul Latif University.
