In Episode 4 "Migrants Go To College", Rahmah Pauzi spoke to a migrant worker named Syarif Hidayat, a construction worker who was motivated to pursue college after he noticed his poor command in English. Late last year, adamant about improving his English command, he took two months off work to enroll in an English language workshop in Indonesia. He came back as a much more confident person, and he's now eager to speak in English all the time. This week Rahmah has a conversation with Syarif about education, learning English, and what does this all mean to him as a migrant worker in Malaysia.
