Show Notes
The food industry is a complex global web of production, processing, and distribution. As food became mass produced to fill the demand of the world's population, a variety of moral problems have arisen: from environmental damage and food shortages, to exploitative labour practices and inhumane treatment of farmed animals. We look at some of the ethical problems in today's food industry with Professor Ralph Early, Professor of Food Industry and Head of the Department of Food Science and Agri-Food Supply Chain Management, at Harper Adams University.
