Patients Beyond Borders, the U.S - based provider for medical travel guidebooks quoted that Malaysia was among the top 10 medical tourism destinations in the world. According to The Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC), the number of medical travellers to our country has almost doubled from 341,288 in 2007 to 671, 727 in 2012. There's also been increasing interest in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic treatments.
