The fight in combating acts of violence against women is a universal one that sadly looks like it will keep going on for years to come. A report in the NST just this last October has stated that domestic violence in Malaysia is on the rise since 2010. One of the NGOs taking the fight to the next level is the All Women’s Action Society (AWAM) with their White Ribbon Run campaign. Taking place this 8th December, Sunday, the campaign supports 16 days of activism where MEN speak out to end violence against women. We spoke to the people behind The White Ribbon Run 2013 event and found out what to expect from it this coming Sunday.
