It’s just 3 days to Raya and everyone is in a festive mood. While it’s time for us to come together with family and loved ones, for many, it’s also a time for reflection, a time to count our blessings, and a time to think about those whose stories differ from ours.
With Raya being celebrated by folks from all walks of life, today on The Evening Edition, we bring you stories from the folks over at the Malaysian Rohingya Society, who oversee the welfare of the refugees of Rohingya in Malaysia.
Our producers Arleen Webber & Esmee Joseph made the trek over to visit them earlier in the week, and we’ll be playing you clips from their trip over the course of the show this evening.
