The S&P BSE Sensex advanced over 700 points to an intraday high of 84,932, while the NSE Nifty 50 rose over 200 points to a day’s high of 26,005. The Nifty is now just 1% away from its all-time high, while the Sensex sits 1.2% below its record peak. By the close, the Sensex settled 567 points higher at 84,778, and the Nifty ended 171 points up at 25,966.

After six straight days of gains, Indian equities finally took a breather. The Sensex slipped 344 points, or 0.41%, to close at 84,211, while the Nifty fell 0.37%, settling at 25,795, as investors booked profits near record highs.

Indian markets closed the week on a strong note today. The BSE Sensex jumped 484 points, while the Nifty crossed the 25,700 mark, extending the week’s momentum.

The Sensex surged 862 points to 83,467, while the Nifty rose 262 points to 25,585. Over the past two sessions, the Sensex has gained more than 1,500 points, and the Nifty is up 1.7%.

The S&P BSE Sensex climbed 575 points or 0.7% to close at 82,605, while the Nifty 50 added 178 points or 0.71% to finish at 25,323.
