π Definition: Performance improves or shifts when itβs being observed.
* In workplaces, productivity spikes when workers know theyβre monitored.
* On NFL sidelines, players tighten up under cameras, scouts, or pressure.
* In markets, traders behave differently when regulators or peers are watching.
When I applied this lens to my betting losses, I noticed games where:
* Teams underperformed under the spotlight (primetime games).
* Coaches adjusted strategy knowing fans and media were watching.
* Players responded to contract-year visibility or scouting attention
