The Pentagon tried rolling out a new “allowed reporting” policy this week — basically telling journalists what they could and couldn’t cover. The result? Nearly every major outlet, from Reuters to CNN to even Fox, told them to get lost. Only OAN stayed. It’s a brutal reminder that government overreach doesn’t sit well with a free press — even in an election year.
