A senior republican, who is close to the president, says that President Donald Trump is throwing a "tantrum" over his recent presidential election loss. The republican says that Trump is acting like a "petulant child" over election. The republican says that conspiracists around Trump have promised proof of fraud "but have failed to deliver" the proof. Trump just issues a series of pardons that includes some of his allies; two former GOP congressman and two people who lied in Russia probe.
As Trump plunges into an alternate universe, the senior republican close to him likens to "petulant child not getting his way."
Trump's allies sound the alarm about delusional efforts to undo the presidential election that has named President-elect Joe Biden the winner.
Fauci warns about a possible surge on top of a surge due to travel for the holidays. Fauci says that January "could be very difficult" due to holiday travel as a surge becomes "superimposed" on top of the existing surge.
The United States tops 2,800 deaths so far today. Scientists are saying that new strain is likely more transmissible.
Trump appears to threaten to veto new coronavirus relief package.
Biden says that the suspected Russian cyberattack "happened on Donald Trump's watch when he wasn't watching."
